A frontline politician and House of representative candidate for Accord Party in lfako/ljaye federal constituency , Hon Lateef Adebola Abass, has assured of purposeful representation in the National Assembly if given the electoral mandate to represent their collective.
Abass who gave the assurance while speaking with Journalists, He promised to attract quality and people-oriented projects to his constituency to enhance the socio-economic and political life of the people in the Federal constituency.
He disclosed that the collective interest and well-being of the people in the area would form the nucleus of his representation, noting that he would never betray the confidence reposed in him by the electorate if given the opportunity to serve them.
Hon Abass a member of Accord Party also said his quest to represent his people was motivated by the desire to ensure that his “constituency is reckoned with in national issues through sponsoring of bills that will have direct impact on the development of the Constituency.
He vowed to engage in robust legislative activities on issues and matters of agriculture, health, education, among others, which are people-oriented and add value to the ordinary.”
He said would attract the establishment of agro-allied industries to engage the unemployed youths in the constituency and champion the vanguard of empowering women to embrace the need for proper and comprehensive education of our children while not leaving out the physically challenged in the society.”
While vowing to bring into the forefront good legislation that will enhance good governance and advance development of his constituency, Sotayo said that his constituency projects will be in tandem with what the people want and not what he wishes.
“There will regularly be town hall meetings with members of my constituency for their inputs into whatever we are doing in the Assembly. There will be so much deliberate efforts to empower the youths, women, artisans, market traders”.
“There will be vocational training and skills acquisition programmes, We have an ambition that is centered on people, giving hope, making life enjoyable for all and that is why our people in lfako/ljaye federal constituency must rally round us and support us in our determined bid to serve the people”.
