l Won’t Betray Your Trust, Dapo Abiodun Assures Ogun People —–Says my Administration Not For Family Members,




Prince Dapo Abiodun The new governor of Ogun state pledged never to betray the trust which was given to him by the peoples during the last governorship election in the state, but rather serve them with integrity and all sincerity.

He stated this at the inaugural speech today lmmediately he was sworn in. Abiodun also pledged that his administration would priorities the welfare of the civil servants in the state rather than compounding and denying them of their rights.

The governor gave the assurance while delivering his speech shortly after taking the Oath of Office as the next govern of the state, which was administered on him by the Chief Judge of the state, Hon. Justice Moshunmola Dioeolu.

He also assured the people of the state that government of Ogun state under his watch would be people center in such a way that identifies with their yearnings and not the ones that glorifies the welfare of cronies and family members.

Speaking further at the event held at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta, the new governor pledged that himself and other members of his administration will operate within the concept of noble leaders christened as Omoluabi”.

“I will govern with character. I will serve you diligently and sincerely; I will make your interests the core of governance. I will neither personalise nor abuse the mandate; I will not betray your trust”.

“The government will be our government, not their government. I have experienced ups and downs of life like any of you. I can relate to your challenges”.

“I can identify with your dreams. You want a government that works for you, and not for cronies and families”.

“Let me pledge once again, that I, Adedapo Abiodun, will keep faith with the people. I will lead with integrity and sincerity. My Administration will be fair, just, equitable and inclusive”.

The new governor however roll out his programmes and policies which his administration intended to execute in the areas of qualified education, agriculture, infrastructural development that focuses on rural, township and industrial roads.

Abiodun explained that the new Ogun state government under him would revitalise the kind of late Obafemi Awolowo’s farm settlements schemes that provided jobs for several thousands of the South West youths and also service the industrial needs to the country among other programme of actions.
