OGUN DEPUTY GOVERNOR EXPRESSES DISPLEASURE ON BAD STATE OF GOVT FACILITIES

The Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. (Mrs.) Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has expressed dissatisfaction on the state of some government facilities across the State, saying they are moribund and no longer fit into modern setting.

The Deputy Governor in company of the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Government House and General Services, Alhaji Shamsideen Mosuro, said facilities in most of the buildings lack good finishing, furniture and are in dire need of repair.
“These facilities have been there for decades and are no longer fit for usage in this 21st century. The spacing in the buildings would be well utilized to commensurate with the space and a lot of repairs will be put in place”, she stated

She added that an assessment of a list of all that has to be done would be put in place as soon as possible, noting that none of the existing facilities were fit for occupation at the moment for the usage of the offices of the Governor and Deputy Governor.

The Government facilities inspected include: Presidential lodge, Deputy Governor’s Lodge, both at Ibara Housing Estate, Government House, Oke Igbein and Government Guest House 2, Ibara Housing Estate, Ibara , Abeokuta.
