The ruling All Progressive Congress has sent oliver branch to Abdulkadir Adekunle Akinlade and others person willing to join the party in order to contribute to the development of the state.aking this disclosure today after the victory of Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun state at the appellate court, held in Ibadan, the Spokesman of the party, Tunde Oladunjoye said that the party would gladly welcome anyone genuinely committed to the development of the state, irrespective of party platform or tribe.

Oladunjoye during the Press Conference held at the party Secretariat, Abeokuta said the governor had during his campaign and even after his election promised to run an all inclusive administration, saying that the governor had demonstrated it enormously with the appointment and engagement of members of other parties and political persuasion into various committees in his government.

The party Spokesman said Abiodun’s Appeal Court victory was a true reflection of people’s wishes overwhelmingly and freely expressed March 9, 2019 governorship election.

Oladunjoye explained that the dismissal of the appeal filed by the Allied People’s Movement (APM) by the Appellate Court was a reaffirmation of the divine mandate given to Abiodun.

The four-member panel of Court of Appeal, Ibadan on Monday, upheld the election of Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The panel in the unanimous judgment, delivered by Justice Mohammed Ambi-Usi Danjuma, who stood in for the head of the panel, Justice Abubakar Yahyah, dismissed the appeal filed by the governorship candidate of Allied People’s Movement (APM), Adekunle Abdulkadir Akinlade, for lack of merit.

It would be recalled Triple A as popularly called had dragged the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the first respondent and Governor Abiodun as second respondent, before the Court of Appeal following the judgment of Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, that also dismissed the petition of Akinlade.

Oladunjoye, opined “the judgement would put to an end to the side agitations of this infantile political party which he described as “touting unmerited mandate”.

The spokesman of the party used the occasion to express a profound appreciation to the people of Ogun State not only for giving their mandate, but also for the support they have continued to show to the Abiodun-led administration. He also poured encomium on the Pres for their immeasurable support .

The party stalwart declared that Prince Dapo Abiodun has been running, and would continue to run an inclusive government as promised the electors during his campaign.
