The Executive Chairman of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education
Board (SUBEB), Prof. Francisca Aladejana, has reiterated that the
Board would adhere strictly with UBEC Guidelines and the State
Procurement law, in the award of the
2016, 2017, and 2018 UBEC/SUBEB Intervention Projects that have
recently been advertised by the Board.
The Chairman, who made the declaration while addressing Staff of the
Board in Ado-Ekiti, urged them not to shirk their responsibility of
ensuring that the terms and conditions contained in the advertised
tendering guidelines are strictly adhered to.
She said that under no condition will contracts be awarded to
contractors that do not take part in the tendering process or pay the
required fees, before the expiration of the tendering period.
Aladejana, who assured contractors bidding for the projects, of a
level playing ground, informed that all sharp practices and
infractions which plagued the tendering process in the past would not
be allowed to happen in the ongoing bidding process.
