BUREAU OF LANDS TO PARTNER PROFESSIONALS FOR EFFECTIVE LAND MANAGEMENT

Ogun State Bureau of Lands and Survey has reaffirmed its readiness to partner relevant professionals, tap from their wealth of experience to achieve effective land management and make it more accessible to investors.

The Special Adviser to the State Governor on Lands, Barr. Ololade Salami made this known while receiving the executives of the Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), as well as Nigeria Institution of Survey (NIS), Ogun State Chapter, who were on familiarization visit to the Bureau at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

He described land as critical to any government’s programme, which must be well managed, noting that the distribution of title documents would soon commence in the State.

While appreciating the bodies for the visit, the Special Adviser said their roles as professionals cannot be over emphasized, as partners in progress in line with the present administration’s drive for ease of doing business, saying the Bureau would welcome any idea from them towards development.

In their separate remarks, the Chairmen, NIESV and NIS, ESV. Sally Sobanke and Surv. Babatunde Ashaye, appreciated the Special Adviser and his team for the warm reception, promising of their support at all times to move the State to a greater height.
