Information Staff celebrates AOB as he pulls out of service

The retired Director of Information Services (DIS), Ekiti State
Ministry of Information and Values Orientation, Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin
Babalola (AOB) has been celebrated by the Staff of the Department.
In his address at the sendoff ceremony in Ado-Ekiti, the new Director,
Mr. Oyebode Oyetunde commended the former DIS for his humility,
industry and generosity.
Mr. Oyebode implored him to henceforth devote more time for God, his
family and old friends to enable him enjoy a peaceful, healthy and
prosperous long life.
He prayed that Mr Babalola would enjoy the favour of God and be
successful in all his endeavors after retirement.
Oyebode used the forum to call for the support of the entire Staff for
himself in his new position to enable him supersede his Predecessor’s
achievement, noting that most of the officers he would be working with
came into the service with him at the same time.
Other people that made remark about Mr Adeola Babalola, including his
co- directors while in office, congratulated him on his successful
retirement and urged him to sustain his virtues that have been
attested to by everybody.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Mr Jide Bello in his
remark described Mr Bablola as a man who enjoyed the favour of God,
urging him to remain close to God and take good care of himself.
In his reaction, the Retiree, Mr. Adeola Babalola appreciated God for
this rare privilege of retiring at 60 and still very agile, hale and
healthy and without any blemish on his record of service.
He urged the Staff to be loyal and be more diligent and committed to
their duties, adding that his tolerance while in service was not a
sign of weakness but in line with his principle to dialogue and
correct rather than issue queries.
The Elder Citizen called on the new Director to give priority to the
welfare of the workers as this would assist him to have successful
tenure as the head.
The high point of the event was the presentation of gifts by the
Department and some individual in the Ministry
