FG, OGUN HOLD TALK TO IMPROVE MSME PROGRAMMES

The Federal Government has further signified interest to deepen its relationship with the Ogun State Government, in the area of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

The Special Assistant to the President in the Office of the Vice President on MSME, Tola Johnson, made this known at the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, after a meeting with the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, saying the objective of the visit was to support the MSME in the State.

Johnson who added that President Muhammadu Buhari is determined to enhance the activities of the enterprise, which has necessitated the engagement of the Federal Government in MSME interventions, such as Agric Small, Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme, Development Bank of Nigeria Loans, CBN Creative Industry Fund, FG Survival Fund, among others.

“It is in furtherance of this activities that we have come to discuss with the State Governor, on how the Federal Government can partner and support MSME in Ogun State. Our discussions are very fruitful and we believe that in a few months from now, we will begin to see result”, he said.
