The executive chairman of ibarapa north government of Oyo state, Hon. Lateef Akorede a.k.a ( Omo oloore) has thanked governor Seyi makinde for the condolence visit to the people of Igangan community, where lives and properties were lost to brutal attack from suspected bandits and criminal herders at early hours on Sunday.
Hon. Lateef Akorede said that the entire people of ibarapa north government are grateful to the gov. for his immeasurable action and support in handling the mayhem that occurred at igangan .
He further stated that both the state and local government is deeply saddened by the losses and tragedy that happened.
The chairman also appeal to the affected families, youths and residents of igangan not to take laws into their hands. We have identified the source and the root of the attack and I want to assure my people that the issue of insecurity in our region will soon become a thing of the past because we working with all security agencies and we have empowered our local security and vigilante groups.
Hon. Lateef Akorede also thanked the entire people of ibarapa north government for the support give to him since the time he became the executive chairman. He promised not to betray the trust that the people had in him saying that his people will enjoy the divided of democracy under gov. Seyi makinde led administration.
He said that with God on outside we shall overcome all the security challenges in ibarapa land.
