Some concerned students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic have issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the management of the school and the Ogun State government to meet its demands.

The ultimatum was contained in a press release signed by the Resolution Committee of the MAPOLY Concerned Students.

According to the committee, the Ogun State government and the management of MAPOLY are not ready to meet its demands after communication of the demands to them in the past days.

It said, “As a committee, having exhausted the first 2Cs of ALUTA, we have decided to use the 3rd C which is Confrontation. We however call on all progressive MAPAITES and all major stakeholders to get ready to confront our oppressors.”

Their demands include fixing Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Road to ease transportation, continual of 60/40 tuition fees payment, reduction of acceptance fee, quick release of examination results, no closure of payment portal and reduction of medical fees.

It stated that the ultimatum will end on Tuesday, 6th July, 2021.

In its words, “If our demands are not meant before then, we might be forced to ground the state to state our demands physically.”
