Speaking earlier in his address, the CEO of Pelican Valley Nigeria Ltd, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, went down the memory lane to remind dignitaries that his foray into real estate business began in Laderin area of Abeokuta where, he said, God used him to turn what seemed like a rejected stone into a corner stone with Pelican Valley Estate.
He noted that Pelican Brief Estate, Kobape which is extension of Pelican Valley Estate, is barely two years old with about 1,000 investors keyed into the project.
He added that it gladdens the heart to commemorate Pelican Brief Estate with the launching of two more estates in one day.
He said, “The Second Estate – the Pelican’s Greenish Acres Farm Estate, is a by-product of the Pelican Brief Estate. After we sold to almost 1,000 investors here, we later discovered that 90 percent of our clients are interested in agriculture, hence, we searched for a land that will not be faraway from the residence of our landlords and here we are today.
“The Pelicans Greenish acres farm Estate will be the first farm estate in Ogun state with a full government approved layout. It is domiciled on the agricultural zone of the Ogun state master plan.
“Our residents here can jug to their farms to get fresh farm produce on a daily basis. However, we also want to make provision for a farm market where farm produce can be sold.
“Let me also use this avenue to say a big thank you to our existing customers for their support – we will not take it for granted. I will also want to use the medium to urge our landlords to strictly comply with the terms and conditions as regards building constructions on this site, by getting their necessary approval and ensure that they avoid the use of quacks for building constructions. Our standard and quality are our unique selling point. This is why we are leading by examples.”
