The Ikogosi Resort Centre ManIkogosiaging Director, Chief Ayo Ademiluwa, has
declared that Ikogosi Warm Spring is more than just a resort centre
but also has many wonders of nature divinely bestowed on the area with
many medicinal leaves and strobes around the place

The Managing Director, who is also the High Chief Asaoye of the
community made this known while fielding questions from newsmen in
Ikogosi Ekiti

According to Chief Ademiluwa, the warm spring has more than 65
different trees that are of high medicinal potency, while the water
has natural power to cure headache and some other ailments.

Chief Asaoye of Ikogosi said, contrary to people’s believe that the
water has just one meeting point which is the confluence of cold and
warm, discovery has shown that there are more meeting points which
include the confluence of warm and warmer, cold and colder, and the
popular warm and cold springs.
He said part of the mysteries that abound in the area is that all the
varying degrees of temperature of the waters take their source from
the same place, thereby making it second to none in the whole world.

The MD of the centre who described the warm spring as a large deposit
of untapped gold mine, said the facility could become a cash cow for
Ekiti State if well harnessed.
He recalled that during the first tenure of Dr. John Kayode Fayemi,
the place witnessed a turnaround from what it used to be which
attracted more tourist patronage from all around the world.

Chief Ademiluwa who is a childhood friend to the Governor-elect
expressed confidence in the ability of Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji to change
the narrative at the tourist centre, describing the Governor-elect as
exceptionally brilliant, extremely loyal and focused, stressing that
those are the attributes needed for good governance.

The MD therefore called on Ekiti people to show understanding and
patience during the course of the administration so that dividends of
democracy will get to them.
