ABEOKUTA – A popular Human Rights lawyer in Ogun state, Barr. Kayode Aderemi has been installed as the Asiwaju Baamofin of Odeda land.
Aderemi was installed by the first class king, HRM, Oba Ishola David Olorunnisola, Gbadewolu 1, the Olu of Odédá in Odeda Local Government Area of the state.
The installation ceremony which took place at the Palace of the monarch had in attendance the former Odédá Local Government chairman, Chief ‘Kayode Akintunde, among other prominent sons and daughters of the community.
Aderemi was installed as the first Asíwájú Baamòfin, a traditional equivalent of Attorney General of the Odédá kingdom.
Chief Kayode Aderemi who is a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Ogun State University), is the lead Partner at ‘Kayode Aderemi & Co., a firm of Legal Practitioners.
He has served as an Executive member of the NBA Abeokuta Branch between 2018 and 2020, where his highly innovative prowess was of great value to the Association.
Kayode has been a voice for good governance, a zeal that spurred him to contest at the 2019 general elections as Ogun State House of Assembly, Odédá State constituency.
He has authored a book and will launch another book titled “How to be Successful at Law Practice: a Lawyers’ Chronicles”.
