6th Obasanjo Golf Tournament Tees Off In Ogun October 14

ABEOKUTA – Organizers of the Olusegun Obasanjo Golf Tourney have announced October 14 and 15, 2022 for the 6th OBJ Golf Tournament.

According to a press release by the Public Relations Officer, Abeokuta Golf Club, Apagun Jimmy Orekoya, the tournament billed to hold at the green course of Abeokuta Golf Club (AGC), Oke-Mosan, is organized by Abeokuta Golf Club and sponsored by First Bank of Nigeria Plc.

Orekoya added that, about 150 golfers of different categories including veterans have indicated their willingness to participate.

On his part, Abeokuta Golf Club Captain, Bashorun Ladi Adegbite expressed satisfaction with the level of turn out of participants.

Bashorun Adegbite assured the golfers that a very rich golfing experience laced with Egba hospitality await them.

The Captain expressed the club’s appreciation to former President Olusegun Obasanjo and First Bank of Nigeria Plc for their continued support.

Participants are expected to arrive on Friday 14th October for registration starting from 6:30 pm followed by a cocktail.

The tee off holds on Saturday 15th October at 6:30 am to 11am, while the grand finale which is the presentation of gifts comes up at 6:30pm.

Meanwhile, the Competition Secretary Surv. Dayo Folarin equally noted that golfers would vie for honor in various categories.

The categories are men, ladies, and veterans with trophies to be won.
