ABEOKUTA – Tunde Lemo, a former Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has been conferred with an honorary doctorate degree.
Lemo was conferred with Doctor of Business Administration by the Crawford University, Igbesa, Ogun state.
Conferring the Honor on the chairman of Titan Trust Bank Limited on Wednesday, the Vice Chancellor, Crawford University, Prof. Reuben Jiya Kolo said the honor was in recognition of Lemo’s unique contributions to the development and sustained growth of the University.
Professor Kolo said the former Wema Bank Chief Executive Officer was also instrumental to the success of the University’s 14th convocation.
Tunde Lemo was honoured alongside, Professor Peter Okebukola who bagged Doctor of Science.
Reacting, the ex-CBN Deputy Governor thanked the University’s Governing Council for the Honour and recognition.
