The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council has commended the Prince Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun State for his efforts to deliver the State to his party, All Progressives Congress during the presidential and national Assembly elections on February 25, 2023
In a statement released and signed by Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, State Chairman today in Abeokuta states that it’s imperative to congratulate the State governor despite the stiff and uncompromising opposition from the leading opposition political parties in the State.
The Ogun NUJ Chairman further states that the total victory that APC had in the 25th February elections was a testimony of the achievements of his administration since about four years ago.
He, however, expressed dissatisfaction on the neglect of the Ogun NUJ Council and its members by Governor Dapo Abiodun and his media team despite the Council and members unalloyed support for his administration.
The Chairman enjoins the governor to pay attention to NUJ in his second term if elected.
Olarewaaju said the Ogun State Council of NUJ believes that Abiodun’s achievements in education, health, agriculture, road infrastructure and other sectors would be further appreciated by the electorate in Ogun State come March 11, 2023 when he would be overwhelmingly reelected.
