The honourable Councillor representing Abeokuta-South LG, Hon. Ismail Soyoye has congratulated the lawmaker representing Abeokuta-South State Constituency II at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele (IWA), as well as other newly inaugurated members.
The congratulatory message was contained in a speech delivered to party faithful this morning ahead of the inauguration in Abeokuta, the state capital.
Hon. Soyoye noted that Abeokuta-South State Constituency II is known for having worthy representatives at the Ogun State House of Assembly through their contributions and policies that positively affects all sectors of the state.
He added that Hon. Igbalaye’s resounding victory at the polls is a manifestation of the people’s faith in him, particularly the young generation who saw a greater prospect in his candidature and capacity to offer quality representation.
While attributing the victory of Hon. Igbalaye as the collective resolve of the people for the continued development in all sectors in Ogun State, Hon. Soyoye expressed confidence at the capacity of the Abeokuta-South State Constituency II representative to deliver on his campaign promises.
The statement partly reads, “Your victory at the polls was never in doubt, neither is your capacity to give our Constituency a worthy representation as a member of the Ogun state House of Assembly.
“It is indeed a testament to your faith, leadership qualities, but also the strength of your character, patience and interpersonal relations capacity.
“We pray God grants you the wisdom to make the right decisions in the interest of your constituents.
Hon. Soyoye further extended her congratulations to all newly inaugurated members of the Ogun State House of Assembly, and urged them all to complement the efforts of Governor Abiodun in ensuring developmental legislation for the state”.
