Yoruba Youths Council (YYC) has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to ignore them in appointing people into key political positions.
The group in a statement by its President, Comrade Oluwole Eric made the appeal while recommending the likes of the National President, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF), Alhaji Yerima Shettima into the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Oluwole maintained that there’s need for inclusion of Youths in the new administration unlike the past administration.
The YYC President described Alhaji Yerima Shettima as Youth with great
experience in Governance, good social status with a good academic profile.
He said someone like him needs to be brought onboard to give in his wealth of experience in this driving process, as a Minister of Youth Affairs.
He therefore reiterated Youths support and commitment for a better Nigeria in ensuring His Excellency, President Tinubu succeed.
