DAPO ABIODUN LIKEMINDS: Aka Denies Removal, Calls Allegations ‘Baseless'”

Hon. Adewale Nurudeen Aka, Chairman of DAPO ABIODUN LIKEMINDS, has denied allegations of his removal as chairman of the group.

In a statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta, Aka described the allegations as “baseless, malicious, and intended to tarnish his reputation.”

Aka, who is also the founder of the group, emphasized that he has always conducted the affairs of the group with transparency and integrity.

He accused Comrade Aderele Michael, former Publicity Secretary of the group, of being behind the false allegations.

He said “Comrade Aderele Michael was once a trusted member of our group and served as Public Secretary”

“His actions are clearly motivated by a personal vendetta and a desire to malign my name,” Aka said.

Aka assured the public that he remains committed to the purpose and objectives of DAPO ABIODUN LIKEMINDS, which is to support the Dapo Abiodun administration and promote the welfare of its members.

“We will continue to work towards the progress and development of our dear state, Ogun,” Aka said.

The statement reads in parts “I, Hon. Adewale Nurudeen Aka, hereby respond to the statement circulated by Comrade Aderele Michael, former Publicity Secretary of DAPO ABIODUN LIKEMINDS, alleging my removal as Chairman of the group. I categorically debunk all the allegations made against me in totality.

As the founder and current Chairman of the group, I have always conducted the affairs of the group with utmost transparency and integrity. The allegations made against me are baseless, malicious, and intended to tarnish my reputation.

It is surprising that Comrade Aderele Michael, who was once a trusted member of the group and served as our Publicity Secretary, would resort to such vile and false accusations. His actions are clearly motivated by a personal vendetta and a desire to malign my name.

I want to assure the general public, members of the group, and the Dapo Abiodun administration that I remain committed to the purpose and objectives of DAPO ABIODUN LIKEMINDS. The group was established to support the administration and promote the welfare of our members, and we will continue to do so.

I urge everyone to disregard the false statement circulated by Comrade Aderele Michael and rest assured that I remain the Chairman of DAPO ABIODUN LIKEMINDS. We will continue to work towards the progress and development of our dear state, Ogun”

Our correspondent gathered that the group has been a strong supporter of the Dapo Abiodun administration, and Aka’s leadership has been instrumental in mobilizing support for the government’s policies and programs.
