As a native of Ikogosi-Ekiti, BAO has brought a new level of transparency and prudence to governance, ensuring that the state’s resources are used for the benefit of its people. Since assuming office, his administration has remained open and free of major crises, fostering unity and cooperation across political divides.

Recently, Nigeria’s Vice President, His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima, praised Governor Oyebanji’s exemplary leadership style at a book launch in Abuja. The Vice President remarked, “I am honestly very proud of Governor Oyebanji. He exudes humility, acceptability, and accessibility. He has been able to unify diverse interests in Ekiti State.”
“We need more Governors like Oyebanji in Nigeria—leaders who work with everyone regardless of political differences, who do not chase shadows, and who maintain humility even in the height of their successes,” he added.
