As the resumption period for the Students in Ogun State is getting near there are some classrooms that are yet to be roofed by this present Government.
One of the Classrooms is one at YNLG School, School 1 Oja-odan Yewa North Ogun State.
One of the Youth leaders in the area Idowu Ayomide Joseph AKA (AY Oloriodo) who is the Olori Odo of Oja-Odan Land Just posted the pictures of the Classrooms and appealed to the Governor to come to their rescue.
When our Correspondent called him on phone, Mr ldowu Ayomide said that the Building have been abandoned since three years ago and the engineer in charge of the building did not come again.
This made our correspondent to call
Eng.Shogunro who is the engineer that is in charge of the building. he explained” I can say anything about the building and the reason why the building is yet to be completed for now . The only person that can say anything about it is Subeb”.
When we asked him to give us the person that is in charge of the work from Subeb he said the man usually come from Ayetoro and he doesn’t have his number again since his phone wiped off some years ago.but he promised to get it from someone.
We call Ogun State Subeb Chairman .Dr Femi Majekodunmi but we could not reach him.
Now that the resumption is next week the people of Oja-Odan in Yewa North is now appealing to Gov .Dapo Abiodun to come and fulfill his promise by roofing the building.
If you can recall that Prince Dapo Abiodun declared State of emergency in the education sector and promise to rehabilitation of 236 primary and secondary Schools in each wards across Ogun State but still there are many uncompleted classrooms across Ogun State. Which means that the gesture promised by the governor has not been extended to Yewa North local government primary School, School 1 Oja Odan .
